St Teresa Religious Education program is held Wednesday evenings from 6:15pm-7:15pm at St Teresa in Dakota Dunes.
Youth Discipleship meets in small groups led by mentors every Wednesday evening during the school year.
June 4-6: Vocation camp for girls ages 12-16, Abbey of the Hills, hosted by the Diocese.
D-Camp:
High school dates are June 15-18 & July 13-16. Junior High dates are July 17-20. D-Camp is always a great experience for those who attend this Broomtree summer retreat!

The EPJ Youth Disciple Middle School girls and mentors hosted a festive Spring Tea Party on April 2 as a way to get to know one another.
The theme was "God's Special Blend of Teas", with the girls looking up scripture passages speaking on creativi-tea, tranquili-tea, abili-tea, loyal-tea, eterni-tea, hospitali-tea, clari-tea, securi-tea and liber-tea.
The girls discussed what the scripture passages meant to them. Tea trivia and special goodies made by the girls rounded out the nice afternoon.
Three of our Youth Disciple students from EPJ attended the “Into The Garden” Lenten retreat hosted by the Sioux City Diocese at Sacred Heart Church in Riverside, on Sunday April 6. The retreat focused on preparation for Easter and the Lenten season.
St. Teresa's 8th and 11th grade Youth Disciple girls joined together to make rosaries on Wednesday, April 2. Building connections with each other that are rooted in our Catholic faith, while making something meaningful for our spiritual development, is a double win!!

The St Teresa of Calcutta 10th grade Youth Disciple girls provided their hands and creative spirits filling Easter Eggs for in preparation for an activity around Siouxland.
Our Youth Disciple groups from St. Teresa, St. Joseph and St. Peter participated in a bed build for Sioux City's Sleep In Heavenly Peace (SIHP). SIHP is a non-profit national organization whose mission is:

All the Youth Disciple girls from Jefferson and Elk Point prayed the Stations on March 19. Each grade took turns carrying the cross.
Our 9th grade Confirmation class had some special prayer time last Wednesday, March 12. Each teen brought a candle up to the altar to represent the light of Christ that resides in their soul to light the way.
Sr. Eileen, Sr. Lynn, Br. Estaven, and Br. Juan Diego from the Pro Ecclesia Sancta order, were all with our Youth Disciple groups on Wednesday, March 26. They spoke to our youth about how each of us has an individual calling from Jesus - and the courage it takes to follow it - courage that comes from Jesus.
St Joseph and St Peter 8th grade YD girls dipped apples for the Siouxland Humane Society’s annual fundraiser. They are under the mentorship of Deb Coyle and Jessica Niles. Providing service to those in need is an integral part of Catholic formation in our YD program.
Fr. Michael Kapperman, the Director of Vocations for our diocese, spoke to the St. Teresa, St. Peter and St Joseph YD groups on the evening of February 5. He shared his testimony on how and why he become a priest. As well, Father encouraged each of us to take one daily step toward listening to, and living as, a disciple of Christ. Ask your child questions about the night!

The catechist and mentors from St. Teresa, St. Peter and St. Joseph gathered for a meal Wednesday, Jan 22 to thank them for their commitment to our young people in our parishes. While there, they were reminded how the spiritual, human, intellectual and pastoral formation in each grade is an essential building block to help our young people live as Lifelong Missionary Disciples Through Christ's Love.
